  • School Talks
    •
    We have booked 9 presentations which start at 7am and are over by 8am. It will be a before school breakfast presentation for 5th Grade GATE kids and their parents. The talk should last about 30 minutes total. We need members to sign up for dates!

  • May 19, 2007 Saturday. We have 150 kids and parents coming. We are setting up our full encampment for a four to five hour presentation. Maps and directions will be posted soon.

  • Massing of the Colors (SAR)
  • Sunday, 18 February, 4pm. We will met at RHQ in Burbank a 2:00 p.m. to caravan over.

  • Saturday, 24 February
  • Guilford Courthouse
  • Saturday, Sunday 17 - 18 March. The 33rd is registered for this event. If you plan to attend please write to 33rd-foot@att.net to be added to the registration.
  • A History of Heroes
  • Saturday, Sunday 28 - 29 April, 2007
  • History of Heroes is a timeline event similar to Marching through History. It will be in Bakersfield, which is about a two and a half hour drive from Los Angeles. We plan to set up our full encampment. We hope to have some of our new members from Sacramento participate.
  • General Membership Meeting
  • Sunday June 3. This date may change. We are considering having a General Membership Meeting at UTR, where we will have most of our members present.
  • British Brigade battle at Bordentown, NJ
  • Saturday, Sunday 9 - 10 June.
  • This is the first big event of the season. For more information please visit: the Bordentown event web site.
  • Battle of Saratoga
  • Friday - Sunday, 6 - 7 October
  • This is the second big British Brigade event of the season. For more information please visit: the Saratoga event web site.
  • UTR 2007
  • June 29-July 1
  • Under the Redcoat is our major travel event for the year. Room reservations are set, dinner at the King's Arms is planned for 7:30 on Sunday night. Bring a clean shirt and your singing voices! We are dining in period clothing this year.
  • Big Horn Mountain Men Rendezvous (labor day weekend)
  • This is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We shoot ball ammunition! The modest entry/camping fee permits us to join in the shooting competition. It's a great chance for us to put our period living skills into action!
  • Marching through History
  • We had a tremendous success with MTH in 2006! We plan to set up our full encampment again, and interpret the life and times of His Majesty's 33rd Foot.
  • Regimental Christmas Dinner
  • Saturday, November 24. It's not too early to make plans!
