All events listed in this section have been officially sanctioned by the 33rd Regiment of Foot, Inc.

Friday, 16 April
  • School Talk for the Dixie Canyon School
  • Right here in the San Fernando Valley, Dixie Canyon is one of the closest schools we get to do.
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 6, 7, 8 May
  • Annual Colonial America Experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.
  • Last year's show was a huge success!
  • Thursday, 20 May
  • School Talk for the Shelyn School
  • We return to the school that Started It All! Please volunteer to speak at the Shelyn School in Rowland Heights. This is the school where we gave our first school talk over twenty years ago. We get to fire our muskets at this one!
  • Saturday, Sunday - 19, 20 June 2010
  • Battle of Monmouth, at Monmouth State Park, Freehold NJ
  • We sanctioned this event because some of our members may attend.
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 25, 26, 27 June 2010
  • UTR 2010
  • Under the Redcoat is in its seventeenth year, and the 33rd has been there for every one!
  • Saturday, Sunday - 10, 11 July 2010
  • Old Fort MacArthur Days
  • Old Fort MacArthur Days is a time-line event situated on the grounds of Fort MacArthur in San Pedro. We are supporting this event this year. Registration information will be sent to the members when it is ready.
  • Saturday, Sunday - 31 July, 1 August 2010
  • Fort George - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ONT Canada
  • Fort George 2010 is a British Brigade event situated on the grounds of Fort George in Ontario, Canada. We have sanctioned this event so that our Back East members may attend. Please advise us if you are going, we need to register for the event.
  • Saturday, Sunday - 25, 26 September 2010
  • Philadelphia 1777 Campaign - Brandywine Creek State Park, Wilm. DE
  • This is the big British Brigade event for 2010. It has been sanctioned as an official 33rd Inc. event. It is a little early for most of us to commit to it (of course our Back East members are more likely to attend), but we should keep it in the back of our minds as a possibility for our second travel event for 2010.
  • Saturday, Sunday - 2 - 3 October, 2010
  • Marching through History Exposition
  • We had a lot of fun at MTHE in 2009! MTHE expanded the space for Colonial groups in 2009. We plan to set up our full encampment, and interpret the life and times of His Majesty's 33rd Foot.
  • Saturday, November 27!
  • The Regimental Christmas Dinner returns to its traditional Saturday After Thanksgiving date.

  • All the events listed in this section are posted for informational purposes. The members may request the Executive Board to sanction them as 33rd Foot events. If there are any other events that the members wish to have sanctioned, please write to Radford

    April 10 - 18, 2010
  • Hart Canyon Rendezvous
  • This is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We shoot ball ammunition! The modest entry/camping fee permits us to join in the shooting competition. It's a great chance for us to put our period living skills into action! Note - last year I was told that they do not permit loading from cartridges. I am checking to see if the rules have changed. We are welcome to camp all week.
  • Saturday, Sunday, 17 - 18 July, 2010.
  • English Heritage Festival of History at Kelmarsh Hall in Northhamptonshire
  • We were encouraged to go to this event by our cousins in the Napoelonic era 33rd Foot Society. Kelmarsh is a timeline event like Marching Thru History Exhibition, except it is gigantic! And in England!! It would be fantastic if we could go.
  • September 2 - 6, 2010.
  • Big Horn Mountain Men Rendezvous
  • Like the Hart Canyon Rendezvous, this is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We are welcome to camp all week.
