All events listed in this section have been officially sanctioned by the 33rd Regiment of Foot, Inc.


Friday, Saturday - 13 - 14 February
  • The American Revolution in Huntington Beach
  • We have been invited to partipate in a growing annual event. Some of our Southern California members have expressed interest. Please let me know if you are going so I can inform the event manager.
  • The Revolution - Living History in HB Central Park
  • Monday, 15 February
  • President's Day timeline event Mt. Vernon Memorial Park in Orangevale, California.
  • This is a timeline event with everything from a Vietnam War Huey to the Wells Fargo stagecoach. The 33rd and Delawares will set up a small camp, do some civilian and soldier demos, and parade to the music of the California Consolidated Drum Band.
  • P.S. If anyone from Southern California wants to do this 1-day event, we can easily put you up in nearby guest rooms of Northern California members.

  • High Desert Pirate Renaissance Faire.
  • We have sanctioned this event because our Contract Artificer will be there along with some of our other civlian members.

  • Sewing, patterns, and discussion of civilian roles with the Colonels Company of the 33rd Foot. At RHQ in Burbank.

  • British Brigade National event at Mt. Vernon, VA. We have voted to support this as our unit travel event for 2016.

  • Memorial Day Weekend Colonial Encampment
  • We have had no update information for 2016 yet, but this is 2012's web site:

  • British Brigade regional event. We have sanctioned this event for our members who may want to participate individually.

  • The web site is not updated for 2016 yet. If we can get a firm commitment from members we may be able to set up a small camp of our own.
  • If we do this it would look much better if we wore breeches instead of trowsers.

  • British Brigade regional event at St. Jeans, Quebec.
  • 240th Anniversary of the American retreat
  • 350th Anniversary of the Forts at St. Johns
  • We have sanctioned this event for our members who may want to participate individually.

  • Nevada City Revolutionary War Days
  • This event is growing and we are very welcome by the town of Nevada City. Let's try to get more of the 33rd there!

  • British Brigade National event at Monmouth, NJ.
  • This is the 240th Battle of Long Island with a Harlem Heights scenario. The 33rd figured prominently in this battle. This will be the other large scale battle event for 2016.
  • We have sanctioned this event for our members who may want to participate individually.
  • Saturday, Sunday - 24 - 25 September
  • The Siege of Yorktown (135th Anniversary event)
  • This is an invitation only event, with a focus on actually recreating a siege with emphasis on artillery, field engineering, and assaulting the works.
  • We have sanctioned this event but any of our members who wish to participate will need to have the unit request a formal invitation.

  • Rebels and Redcoats. Pioneer Village Arizona. We have sanctioned this event for our members who may want to participate individually.

    The week of 9 - 17 April
  • Hart Canyon Rendezvous
  • This is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We shoot ball ammunition! The modest entry/camping fee permits us to join in the shooting competition. It's a great chance for us to put our period living skills into action! We are welcome to camp all week.
  • 31 August - 5 September, Labor Day Weekend
  • Big Horn Mountain Men Rendezvous
  • Like the Hart Canyon Rendezvous, this is a fun venue, and a great chance for us to mingle with other black powder shooters in the Southern California area. We are welcome to camp all week.
